3. Annotations on the UK postcode map

  • “Glasgow” written with an arrow pointing to the G postcode area in Scotland.
  • “2 days” written with a bracket drawn around the East Midlands region (yellow on the map, covering areas such as LN, PE, NR, IP, CO, CB, NG, DE, LE, S, DN, HU).
  • “2 days” written with a line pointing to the South East region (lavender on the map, along the south coast).
  • The map used is the standard UK Postcode Map by gbmaps.com, with regions coloured as: Scotland, Northern Ireland, North East, North West, East Midlands, West Midlands, Wales, South West, South East, and Greater London.

4. Points to confirm before publishing

  • “Monday – Thursday” for Glasgow and the remaining areas of Scotland: does this mean deliveries on Monday and Thursday only, or every day from Monday to Thursday? The CA & LA line uses “Mon & Thursday”, which suggests the dash entries may mean a Monday to Thursday range, but this needs confirming with Operations.
  • MK, SG and LU: these appear under the South East entry with no schedule written against them. Confirm whether they follow the 2 day South East schedule.
  • “2 days” entries: confirm whether this means a 2 working day lead time or deliveries twice a week, as this wording will need to be precise on the website.
  • PA, FK, KY and north: confirm how the £100 charge and £500 minimum order should be worded for customers, and whether the charge applies per delivery.
  • Northern Ireland and Greater London appear on the map but have no delivery information written against them. Confirm whether deliveries are made to these regions.
  • One word in the South East line is scribbled out and could not be read.
